This year, starting next week (September 11th), AISM is extending its Foreign Language Program for students in Upper School (Grades 6-10). Upper School students will be able to select between, French, Arabic (native speakers only) and Spanish, as their foreign language option.

Ms. Gabriela Cabrera (https://www.aismonrovia.com/teacher-profiles) is enthusiastic about and excited to be teaching Spanish, her Mother Tongue, and introducing this new language to our AISM community.

Ms. Gabriela Cabrera is from Venezuela, and has been teaching at an American School in Venezuela, Escuela Las Morochas, for four years. She has been working with an international community and with students from all grade levels

Spanish classes are scheduled to start on Monday, September 11th, 2017, along with the French and Arabic classes. Parents have indicated an interest for Spanish as a Foreign Language to assist with transitions to other international Schools, or U.S. Public Schools.

However, in order for us to plan successfully, we need your help! Please fill out the form below to select the language that you would like your child(ren) to take this year, and return by email to Ms. Lovetta Karyeah no later than Thursday, September 7th, 2017.

Ms. Cabrera has been working behind the scenes, over the last month, to prepare the classes and make sure that it is a successful introduction (or extension) for our student community. If you have any questions about the program, please email her directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
