Year of the Honey Bee
This afternoon, our teaching team welcomed some 25 “new” students and parents to our community. It was a great opportunity to get to know one another and provide a brief overview to our new (and returning) students. Our overall objective: To help students and parents know “what to expect” when school opens on Monday, August 26th, 2019.
Some quick notes from this afternoon’s meeting are below.

Reminder: School Starts at 8:15a.m. and concludes at 3:30p.m. until September 9th, when our After School Activity Program begins.
Café Royal provides a Hot Lunch Program service to our students daily. A free lunch will be provided on the first day of school, and food service will begin for the month of September the following week. Please see the September menu below. The Cantina will be open from the first day of school, and current food choices are:

The school uses the Measures of Academic Progress exam to measure student growth and achievement. The first testing window for AISM students is from August 29-September 6. MAP testing schedule and parent information sheet is attached for reference.
