AISM uses “TENACITY” as the character code attributes for inspiring rigorous self-learning and ethical values.

As Michelle Borba states: “Character Education is woven in….not added on.”

Our TENACITY code is designed to help make our school environment one in which students are anxious to come to school, work cooperatively, and learn!

Each month, students who have exemplified one of the attributes are recognized during the Monday Morning Assembly. Parents of the students recognized are invited to attend.

This month, our Student of the Month was focused on “Caring.”

Students exhibited the following characteristics in their homeroom:

  • “Supportive.”
  • “Provides positive feedback and compliments.”
  • “Someone who wants to both talk … and listen.”
  • “Forgives”
  • “Generous”
  • “Honest”

Students who exemplified all the attributes of our TENACITY Code are also recognized at the end of the school year.

On behalf of the entire team, we wish to congratulate our student winners this month, and also thank our students’ parents for their work with their children in assisting them in being “Caring” individuals.
