AISM Community,

RE: AISM Character Code:

This Year, The Year of the Wildebeest, AISM is pleased to recognize “TENACITY” as our Character Code attributes for inspiring rigorous self-learning and ethical values.

As Michelle Borba states: “Character Education is woven in….not added on.”

Our TENACITY code for the year is designed to instill and help us create a positive learning environment that assists and encourages parents, “as our students’ first and most import teachers”, in working with us to help make our school environment one in which students are anxious to come to school, work cooperatively, and learn!

The AISM TENACITY Framework is below:

This morning, we had our Student of the Month winners. The focused was on being “Ambitious.”

The personality trait of Ambitious is defined as: “The persistent and generalized striving for success, attainment, and accomplishment”.

“The very substance of the ambitious is merely the shadow of a dream.” William Shakespeare

“Be more ambitious. Do your homework. There’s no easy way around this.” Anthony McCarten

“In order to build a career and to be successful, one has to be determined. One has to be ambitious.” Saul Leiter

“I’m ambitious in the sense that I raise the bar high for myself.” Darren Criss

“I was a little different from the other kids..I was more ambitious. I knew what I liked and I worked really hard. I was a very serious kid.” Natalie Portman

“For the most ambitious young people, the corporate ladder is obsolete.” Paul Graham

“If you talk to most ambitious people, people who are high achievers, they’re rarely at peace with what they’re doing because they need an engine to keep moving” Neils Burrow

“I’m ambitious. But if I weren’t as talented as I am ambitious, I would be a gross monstrosity.” Madonna Ciccone

“People say it’s not ambitious, but it is actually quite ambitious wanting to help people.” Prince William

Have a great afternoon.
